On Friday 13 December, Bruges is warming up for the Warmest Week! On this warm day, we will organise our kick-off for our monthly ‘Synchronous Singing for Peace’.
Goal?
We sing together for more connection, solidarity and togetherness and with the intention for Peace – World Peace. With this initiative, we want our singing to continue to resonate around the world until there is Peace everywhere. Will you sing with us?
What?
Come together and sing or make music with your friends or with your club, class, school or
association, the local singing choir, or organise a concert, …
Where?
We all sing together from our own place, community, city or country. From your living room, your
school, your church, your leisure hall, the concert hall, from the town/village square, the stage…
When?
Every second Friday of the month. At the hour that suits you best. Do you prefer to sing for Peace on a different day? Then of course we encourage that too.
Synchronised with an expanding character. ‘Rippling over the world’. Like gentle waves with positive
and connecting vibes for Peace.
Who?
We invite everyone to sing along! Doesn’t matter if you are white or black, doesn’t matter what
religion you have, what background you have… We are all human beings!
Which songs?
Any songs or music. Vocal or instrumental, doesn’t matter. As long as you sing from your heart and with the intention for Peace.
How do you participate?
Very simple! Send an email with your name to contact@vredeswijzer.org and we will add your name
to the list of participants, on the website https://vredeswijzer.org/synchroon-zingen-voor-vrede/
Nice if you make a short video of your ‘Synchronised Singing for Peace’. Then share that video on
your favourite social media channel so that this initiative spreads like wildfire. Add a short text as an
explanation, e.g. name of group/choir, date and place and the hashtag: ‘Synchronous Singing for
Peace’.
